It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Susie Berry OBE.
She was a towering figure in the British and International skiing world. She was a well-respected International Technical Delegate and was appointed start judge at the 1972 Sapporo Olympics. She was a trustee of the Skiers Trust from ……
She served the Kandahar ski club for decades leading many of their activities including, Junior Training, the Kandahar Martini Races, the Kandahar Master, Inferno Week and February half terms. Her memory of skiing and skiing matters and especially FIS rules and regulations were second to none.
We will miss her and our world is smaller without her. Our sympathies and thoughts are with her sons, Mark and Julian.
