Ambassadors

Our Ambassadors have very important active roles for us. They represent us amongst the snowsports community and play a major part in helping us to promote our fundraising efforts in support of young people.

Nickie Mabey

Nickie comes from four generations of family skiers dating back to 1912 and is the founder of Mabey Ski, an adventure ski company creating out-of-the-ordinary ski trips across the globe. Constantly seeking out extreme ski adventures Nickie has skied steep chutes and couloirs in Europe, ski toured volcanoes in Japan, and hosted overnight backcountry basecamps in Canada. When she isn’t skiing fresh tracks in her hometown of Whistler, you’ll find her swimming in lakes, hiking trails, or falling off her mountain bike.

Nickie hopes to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps, who set up the Penny Mabey Fund in 1990 to support the next generation of young British female skiers.

Sacha Zvegintzov (Zog)

Zog started alpine ski racing at seven years old with his local Glencoe club, later racing on the international FIS circuit for four years. Whilst an Army helicopter pilot he raced for the Army and Inter-Service Teams. Now a North Sea offshore pilot he still has a passion for all snowsports and has competitively sled dog raced with his Alaskan Malamutes. He keenly follows the newer disciplines such as ski/snowboard cross, big air and slopestyle as well as traditional alpine events.
