Ed is a member of GB Snowsports’ FIS Alpine Squad and trains with the Europa Cup Squad as a part of their Europa Cup Programme. He has received grant support through the Skiers Trust’s Snowsports Competitor Fund.

His racing career has been progressing steadily year on year since he began representing GB in 2018. He competes in all four alpine disciplines. His long-term target is the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

In the 2020-21 winter season he competed at the World Junior Alpine Championships in Bansko, achieving creditable results in both Super G and Giant Slalom. He ended the season with GB U21 classifications of second in SuperG and Downhill, and third in Slalom and GS.

In 2020 he was selected for the then cancelled World Junior Championships in Norway and was overall Winner of the FIS-CIT Arnold Lunn World Cup. He was Welsh Giant Slalom and Slalom Champion and had five podium places on the FIS CIT circuit. The previous season he had three FIS CIT podium finishes.

He is a member of Snowsport Cymru Wales’ Elite Alpine Ski Team.

Alongside his skiing, in 2020, he started a foundation year at University Savoie Mont Blanc with an aim to moving on to a Sports Science degree.

Whilst a dual national with French and British citizenship, he competes for Britain and is recognised as an up-and-coming talent by Snowsports Wales.

The Skiers Trust first began supporting Ed in 2018 when he became a member of our Pool of Talent. He is an example of the young people with top level competitive potential who the Trust attempts to identify and provide much needed financial help in order for them to develop their talent.
