Lois is a member of GB Snowsports Alpine FIS Squad. She has received grant support through the Skiers Trust’s Kirsteen McGibbon Fund. She is a member of our Pool of Talent.

Lois first began competing in slalom, GS and SuperG on the CIT and FIS race circuit in 2017. She is currently recovering from an ACL injury with an aim to returning to competition in the next winter season.

In 2019/20 season she took the English U21 slalom and GS titles and won a number of FIS and
CIT Arnold Lunn World Cup slalom races held in Tiffindell, South Africa. She won the FIS World cup race at the Lowland Championships and was part of the British Team winning the team event.

She was selected for the British Children’s U16 Ski Team in 2016/17 and following her first FIS season, was selected for the GB Snowsports Alpine FIS Squad in 2018/19.

Lois joined the Ravens Ski Club (now RT Ski Club) in Sunderland at six years old, skiing and racing at the local Silksworth Dry Slope. She was English and British outdoor champion on several occasions.

For the past five years she has trained full time with Team Evolution in Austria.

The Skiers Trust believes Lois is an example of the young people with snowsports potential who the Trust attempts to identify and provide much needed financial help in order for them to develop their talent.
